Bali is not short on spectacular properties \u2013 since the seventies it\u2019s been something of a magnet for those with a penchant for the grand aesthetic, from well healed bohemians fashioning whimsical tree houses to bankers building faux renaissance palaces. Let\u2019s face it – you could build a shack at the edge of the cliff at Karma Kandara<\/a> and still wish to spend your life there. Gazing out over the Indian Ocean, it really does feel like you\u2019ve reached the southern ends of the earth. The Grand Cliff Front Residence is far from a shack however. You\u2019ll be gazing from the infinity pool with a cocktail in hand, or on a plush daybed on the expansive veranda. Or from the master bedroom, one of five beautifully appointed boudoirs; or perhaps from the spa space, perched like an eagle\u2019s eyrie on top of the residence.<\/p>\n

Besides the main house, which houses three of the bedrooms, (not to mention a vast kitchen equipped with shiny chrome appliances, a home cinema and a fully equipped gymnasium) there is an additional guesthouse that conjures the atmosphere of what used to be known as an English summerhouse. It houses two bedrooms and a quiet salon area. In between there is a courtyard bursting with tropical flora and ponds filled with fish.<\/p>\n

As if this were not enough, there\u2019s even a dedicated wellness facility, (besides the top floor treatment pavilion) which includes sauna, steam room and Japanese hot and cold plunge pools. There are a myriad things to keep you entertained at the Grand Cliff Front Residence \u2013 and a personal butler to deal with your every whim.<\/p>\n

An open plan living area surrounded by floor to ceiling glass frames that jaw dropping vista, offering 160 degree views \u2013 the glass can be opened concertina style to create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
